The Solitaire du Haut Lac got underway under incredible conditions on Saturday, May 27, 2023, with Luc Voile 1 gliding along in a nice breeze and glorious sunshine.

What a great way to start the day for Zoé Daguin, who was competing for the first time! The wind then became a bit more unpredictable, very unstable and shifting, making tactics challenging and requiring frequent maneuvers and sail changes.

Then he finally decided to set course for the final stretch under spinnaker before the finish. It was a great race among the 27 participants, which ended with our Surprise finishing in 7th place.

After this round trip between Villeneuve and Cully, all that’s left is to enjoy the splendid sunset on the return trip to Lausanne, with the breeze that has finally picked up!
